sooo busy

Today I finally made some real progress on unpacking. I got to Danville on May 5, and I've been going like crazy since then. A couple days after getting here, my sister told me that she'd taken a couple days off last week and wanted to have a rummage sale, so we could start getting rid of things of my other sister's that we'd all gone through. It seemed like it would be easy, then I started in my dad's garage. I started realizing that it was going to be a huge job. It finally came together and we actually made quite a bit of money on Friday. Saturday was a different story. Rain Rain Rain! but once it cleared, we started picking up, and stayed open a few hours longer than we'd planned.

Saturday evening, I went to see the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the second time. One of my nieces had a bad day, so we went to Steak n Shake for dinner (and sat at the counter on the stools b/c she'd never done that before) and then went to the movie. She ended up spending the night with me at my dad's and we hung out all day Sunday, too. I even had to scold Max, my dog, for being a traitor b/c he was all cuddled up with her. He must remember her from March when they were staying with us!

Today, I got up and started more unpacking and arranging. I had to stop and go to my brother's office so we could do a conference call to FL with my mom and her attorney. Good news on that front, it looks like my uncle may finally consent to selling the house in FL. YAY! I left there, took another niece to work and went to niece #1's softball game. They won today. She thinks they'll lose tomorrow. We were conspiring last night on how to get my brother to let her take off to FL with me when I drive back down in the next couple weeks. Hmmm...

Gotta run...low battery!

I hafta get my fix

This is silly...I am sitting in the truck, with the laptop, after driving around Danville to find a wireless connection. Lucky me! There are several downtown late at night when the streets have been folded up!
